Under Jos he was just thrown in the deepend and was almost set up to fail. Looking back Dawson didn’t deserve the stick he got. The way we played (out from the back) was kamikaze and poor Cameron was the scapegoat. When called upon this season he’s been far better than Westwood. You could blame him for the Cardiff free kick, but you could argue he was obstructed.

S1Owl
Wednesday way for Dawson to have a mare. Hope he is vocal and commands his area. Westwood prob stabbed himself in shoulder to make being dropped easier to take

striker
The way a competitive squad should be, one player loses form, another replaces them. Westwood has had a good run, not a kneejerk reaction, after a few mistakes. Hopefully, whoever is in goal keeps a clean sheet.
WalthamOwl
And I wonder what it will be like on here tomorrow if Dawson concedes a sloppy goal.

Which players have been dropped for lack of form this season ? Strikers miss chance after chance and have cost us far more lost points then Westwood for example . Don’t like all this slating of a player , Doesn’t help , remember Fox ? . I didn’t see a goalkeeper that needs dropping at West Brom . Ok Westwood has made some errors my point is so have others . Bit shocked how fans turn on a player on here , quite sad actually.

Put an awful lot of pressure on him. You then have Jos constantly changing the back line in front of a young, inexperienced goalkeeper. It was a recipe for disaster tbh. Just hope fans get behind Cam. He isn't the finished article by and stretch and in an ideal work we have a Westwood on form...but we dont and Cam is decent.
