Apparent Value of our squad

How can Pelupessy be worth more than Harris? How can Reach be worth less than what we paid for him? Ridiculous article!!

Reach ridiculous. He’s worth double that.

Harris - Difficult one. Based on his first six games for us he is the Raheem Sterling of the Championship. Virtually unplayable. However, based on his injury-ravaged career he is worthless. Lets hope his bad luck is over, in which case we have a season-changing player and a huge financial asset.

Totally disagree with those valuations. I hear Sheffield Wednesday Holdings Ltd have offered us £100m each for Big Dave and Joey and will continue to let us play them....  :Chansiri:

We should hold out for less money and not having to play them

Re the Star. Yes its crap these days but as nobody buys things and expect it for free they dont have an income to make it any better.

That's bad news.

The Star from the 70s and 80s was a campaigning paper that occasionally broke real local stories. They would hold local politicians to account for their actions to some extent and when I was working with the Council none wanted a bad news story.

Now they dont give a sheet. That's why someone like Motherarsole can do what he likes.

They also had decent football journos such as Pritchett and Thompson especially compared to the inarticulate cheapest options they have these days.

Johnstone though not the Star are losing millions. The paywall is the last throw of the dice but like the Green Un it will probably not save it in its current form.

How in gods name is joey worth more than borner Palmer and Harris????

Shows how much they actually pay attention to us. Utterly laughable, signed for £450k and can't/won't get a game unless everyone else is injured.

A few well over valued there. Jordan Rhodes was never worth what Middlesboro then we paid and to get anything for him based on the last 3 years would be such a gamble for any club.

Pelupessy £1.35? He's not quite good enough for Championship really, so would league 1 clubs pay that?
