It seems Gibson as a personal wealth of 200 million, now that's a lot but not for a football club owner these days. Mel Morris as a net worth of 500 million... thats much more like it and can easily afford to buy pride park for 60 million. I suspect Gibson can't do the same or is not prepared to (Money tied up) so he's thrown toys out the Pram.

Our owners net worth is i imagine around that of Mel Morris and I doubt he as paid 60 million for Hillsborough, around half of that would be much more likely.

Boro could do it, the parent company is owed about 95m

It doesn't have to be the owner personally for this accounting trick to work

imagine  is all you can do   -4 years of scouring google there isn't a single bit of information about what he visible or has stuffed under the bed

other than his post forum throwaway comment that he turned down 175m  implying he could afford to turn down a healthy profit without a blink

anyone's wealth is only a deduction from known accounts. as for our guy  there is nothing, except recent family share percentage reduction in TU to estimate from -

I'd love to know

The Chansiri family has a net worth estimated below $1bn and DC is not exactly at the head if the family.

Forbes Thai Rich List has Kraisorn Chansiri (DC's Dad) at Number 41 with a net worth of $155m with the comment that he has shared his wealth with his family.

Other estimates have the 'Chansiri Family' fortune around $800m.

Obviously DC has a good few quid but it's not a bottomless pit and I don't belive the story of him turning down an offer of $175m.

yes this is what's out there and looked into for the last 4 years  they recently have a reduced percentage share of the TU  whether this is due to a share issue or sale not sure

DC or whoever actually owns us is reportedly into us for north of 80m (his estimate)  along with on top committed funds into next season as he will have had to commit to do to the EFL

and if the purchase of the ground is true that as well  how on earth is this being funded

safely I hope

Sincerely hope Derby do villa over today and pi55 Gibson off even more. It'd be just great. Bloke's a complete bell end.

Mel Morris has gone up in my estimation. Says it how it is. Gibson is acting like a spoilt child who cant get his own way.

Boro lost £20million in 2017-18 despite parachute payments.

Bloody hypocrite.

What kind of w@nker tried to sue another club for doing something within the rules? I just don’t understand it and why just go after Derby as everyone is at it anyway or will be.

What the hell is he hoping to get out of it? To stop Derby going up or being successful? If he succeeds then what, how does that help Boro?

He’s just a hypocritical, Jobsworth, bitter bell end.

The cynic in me suggests that there will be no lawsuit and this is some extremely petty way of trying to cost Derby promotion.

For the life of me, I can't see what Boro expect to achieve from this and I also don't understand why they are pursuing Derby.

From what we know, Derby had their ground sale approved by the EFL. It was within the rules.

So...if Boro wanted to sue someone, then it would be the EFL on the basis they have misinterpreted or not applied their own rules correctly.

He's just got the Monk on because he gave Gary a lot of money to spend, ended up sacking him. Appointed the promotion specialist Pulis and ultimately didn't get promotion and sees two teams who he thinks have broken the rules competing for that said promotion today at Wembley? Hard lines Steve. At least you've got the solace of the Red Carpet treatment at Championship grounds up and down the country next season to look forward to?

Drowning  man/club gasping for air. Think he has realised the game is up, spending money and going nowhere and losing ground on the competition. Maybe he could send for Jo's.

Just ban him from hillsboro, cant imagine many owners getting upset by not having to travel to boro.
