Lad spoke to him in Meadowhall last week. Said he'd been running & training on his own for a couple of weeks & was hoping to start ball work & training with the rest of the squad in another 2 weeks.

What's he like?

I always imagined we'd find a place for KL through the coaching staff, particularly if his career ends prematurely.

And Winnall

Just get a feeling this lad can have a good season playing regular, he’s the most motivated of our strikers you can see he wants to just start banging goals in again with the stuff he writes on social media , nuhiu on the other handlol

Is Hourihan a regular at Villa these days? Could be Bruce might try to reignite their old baaarnslee partnership.

I think we give him 1 more crack at the first team if he plays 5 games then injured for 8 months we just need to move him on , such a class player for us and a shame really

I doubt we'll be moving him on anywhere if this were the case. Besides, he's out of contract in the summer anyway.

Forget him - won’t play again here sadly, along probably with Hooper.

these players have assumed mythical status.

They need to be moved on when contracts are up and replaced with players who can play 35+ games a season.

You have been negged for pointing out the truth . Vintage owlstalk

It's not uncommon for players like Kieran Lee to retire early.

Chris Cohen, Jack Collinson, Stuart Holden, Ryan Mason, Fabrice Muamba, Michael Johnson, Seth Johnson

Each have their own story but they all played in the engine room, most body taxing position on the pitch?

What's truthful about saying a player will never play for us again? At the moment, it's purely an opinion, which people are entitled to disagree with, nothing more.

We've heard the same thing many times before e.g. Westwood, Hutchinson, Forestieri etc. All turned out to be complete bobbar. Now that's vintage Owlstalk.
