And by that time, it was the second goal scoring opportunity in the game and was followed by another chance that should have been taken but hit the post. All of that before we even got into the game. So it more or less backs up the point the OP is making. Should maybe add to that, Leeds had at least two clear chances in the early stages of that match. Today, in the first 12 minutes of play, Derby had had THREE one-on-one's. That's inexcusable. And that's, away from home, when we should be been solid and compact. Miffed Posted October 21, 2017 Share Posted October 21, 2017 Maybe we do prepare, but other teams do their homework too. I could tell a team exactly what to do against Wednesday. Press and attack us early on, get in our faces and close us down because our players simply can’t stand it. Attack us down the flanks, particularly the left. Simply try and score early and you will. In the meantime Wednesday will play slow, tippy tappy sideways and backwards football (which is exactly how we stared today) meaning less distance to go towards goal when you win the ball.
