@owlstalk
Owls head coach Carlos Carvalhal says Wednesday have what is necessary to rise and fight back after successive defeats. Wednesday left St Andrew’s empty-handed after dominating the Blues, but Carlos is adamant the Owls have what it takes to deal with the pressure and respond. After losing just one of the opening eight games, the Owls suffered back to back defeats but Carlos has backed his players to come out fighting. “It is not normal since I arrived that Sheffield Wednesday lose two games in a row," he said. "In the last two seasons, it has only happened very few times. “We have quality, we have power and we have football to get out of this situation. “We have a derby on Sunday against Leeds and it’s a good game to play in my opinion. “All the time there is pressure, when you lose one game there is pressure at a club like Sheffield Wednesday. “When you lose two, there is more pressure, I know that and I accept this. We deal with this pressure and what we must do is play hard and go for the next game.” Owlstalk Shop

owlZfan84
The only reason for the pressure Carlos, is due to the negative football YOU have been implementing with YOUR players. Seriously, I'm dreading Sunday.
Derick Mills
It's not just the last couple of games, it's the whole of last season give or take a couple of games this slow build up with no end result is driving us all mad . Wednesday fans will get behind any player and team that gives100% remember Ron Atkinsons first season when we got relegated, no one got one his back because everyone gave their all, but the tactics for last season and this DIRE

Roy Of The Roasters
I've never doubted we have the power and quality. But somehow we're unable to use it to it's best advantage week after week. You can pretty much guarantee we'll have a couple of good results, then it will all fall apart again. Flat Owl
Its the same in the glorious USA. They have all the right tools - in fact overwhelming tools - but they are being used by a madman... Overwhelming... God Bless The Wednesday of Sheffield. adelphi1867
I don't doubt we have the quality, but the Power?, where FFS! We are a 'Team', and I use the term loosely, of powder puff players when it come to the physical side of the game.
northeastowl
Sick of listening to him talking absolute rounduns now. Then we have to put up with watching his tactics.
S36 OWL
Yes we have the quality , plenty of it , but we have a manager who stifles our quality with his negative tactics . Carlos sets us up not to lose instead of setting us up to win.
Owl Be Back
The idiot will not learn. He'll start the game on Sunday with a rigid formation, on the back foot, and only alter this after half time (because he can't seem to communicate changes while the match is being player). By then the game could be out of reach. It begs belief why he can't seem to change this approach and in a wider sense why he altered that style of football he played in his first season that won so many plaudits and achieved such excellenet results. Results which would have only been improved upon if he'd continued with such an approach but with the improved squad at his disposal.
