alanharper
Couldn't tell from middle of North Stand. Anyway if it was a goal it's swings and roundabouts, these things level themselves out etc. Lee Chapman had one disallowed which was clearly 2 yards over the line against QPR in 1987 so it's karma for that one. owl-zat
You could say last night was karma from the handball and penalty we should've had at Derby this season

oh_weds_we_love_you
These things even themselves out. Someone has already mentioned the joke at Derby earlier in the season. Bet the Blackburn manager didn't talk about the fluke own goal - massive slice of luck, then complains about luck with the Emnes shot!

A bit like when Wallace takes his corners the overhang counts. Therefore my verdict is no goal, in real time I don't know how Coyle can blame the officials. He may have a point about the handball disallowed goal though but you take your luck when you can, it's gone against us on occasions this year. Yep. There's been ones in prem that looked definite goals, then the technology shows that a tiny part of ball is on the line. I reckon same happened here, but we'll never know. The handball was handball, arm was up and he gained control of ball with it.
Ian
Those saying the Lino was miles behind play.....where exactly do you think he should have been?.....level with the byline....i.e. 20 yards in front of the last defender?

OhForAnotherShez
I didn't see it cross the line because when it hit the bar and set off downwards, my head dropped into my mams. Edited February 15, 2017 by OhForAnotherShez

Usually in direct correlation to how the decision affects their team. Yes,very Arsene Whinger. He could always see the very clearly the claims for penalties etc. for his side but couldn't see them for his opponents.

The only way is S6
From T1 in the North it was clearly over the line. The daft thing was, Emnes had done a similar run & shot minutes earlier. Everyone was saying 'stop him before he shoots again'
Dagmeister
It was as impossible for Coyle to see in real time as it was for me. I thought it could've been in but couldn't be sure either way. It's common enough to see things through lenses tinted with your teams colours though. Thought the ref was below average in general but that was a difficult call for him and his team. toooldforthis
Just because the base of the ball might be over the line doesn't mean that the whole of the ball is over the line...just saying I wasn't at the game last night...but it wasn't a goal
