They would both be better next to a tenacious ball winner (hutch) that allows them to focus on creating chances. I had thought that if Villa got Lansbury we'd get Conor. RUMBELOWS91 Posted January 19, 2017 Share Posted January 19, 2017 Villa ripping up their midfield and starting again at this stage of the season is really rolling the dice- Bruce clearly thinks they're a long way short. if they sign Lansbury/Houlihane I can see it taking at least half a dozen games before they have any sort of understanding- by then Villa could be well and truly out of the running for a play off place.
