So that report says that Barnsley have accepted a £1m bid for CH but they turned our reported £1.25m bid down?  I know them Dingles are thick but can't imagine they'd accept a lower offer - unless it is just to spite us.

allegedly turned down 1.5 million from villa last week if this is true heck's doing a good job with the negotiation

If we won't play McGugan and it looks like we never will we need to go and offer him and couple of our kids on free loan that way doing damage to our opponents and getting some sort of value for his wages

If he signs for Villa, or anyone apart from Wednesday all the dingles will be high sixing one another in joy and spite

And then drop like a lead balloon in the league, because ultimately they've lost their two best players.

there may not be a plan b ,hourihane is a good buy at that price but if we do miss out to get someone of a similar standard could cost 3or 4 million more unless theres another whos out of contract in the summer  ........are there any good players who's contracts are coming to an end that we could pick up on the cheap .

Looks very much like Barnsley were never going to even entertain an offer from us.

Pretty laughable really.

Essentially backed themselves into a corner from a negotiating point of view with Villa.

Sure they can be all high sixing each other (because "Hoowyhan didn't join da Wendys") when they're back rotting away in League One.

Surely it's down to the player, he's not a piece of meat he'll go where he wants in the end.

And if he really wants to come here he'll see is contract out.

If he doesn't then f##k him.
