Our problems on Friday was , we were up against the best defence in the league. I am not worried about scoring we don't concede and Hopper back, Winnall signed and more to follow.

You're not bothered about the thing that wins you games.

Ok :duntmatter:

Surely we could come to a deal, maybe 4 million upfront, extra 2 million when we reach the premiership and a further 3 million when we win the champions league

Surely 5 million and a further 5 million in promotion would be reasonable?

Will probably end up at Villa- seems they're trying to offload McCormack. Thing is, we're probably the perfect club to offload him to- but the mad Dr wouldn't sell us their 3rd choice left back, so surely he won't let us have RMc, will he?!

They will still fancy they can close a 9 point gap over the next 19 games.

I think it would more likely be structured along the lines of £4/5m + £1.5m after x amount of appearances, with a further £1.5m if we're promoted in the next 2 years, and possibly a sell on clause too.

I don't think he will.

I think Villa are going to have to take a big loss on RM if they want rid of him this window given what Steve Bruce had to say about his poor attitude this week.

They are going to take a big loss on McCormack if they want to get shut & he is 30 years old & according to Steve Bruce over weight & not match fit plus not turning up for training. We dont want him anywhere near our club. Rhodes has to be the one for us.

Maybe not to that extreme, but carlos has a habit of finding himself a project. We've signed quite a few out of favour/short of match fitness players since he's been here.

No time for a project, we need to bring in somebody to go straight into the side & start scoring goals. Carlos has signed too many players who have not got into the squad & to be honest he has a poor record with his signings this season.

I agree, but it wouldn't surprise me.

Yes, and look how McGeady, Buckley, Wiggins etc, have turned out.

Even without any transfer fee RM, and he would cost a minimum 6-7 million IMO, will be on wages higher than SF so no thanks!
