Paul Corry has joined Carlisle United on an emergency loan deal.

The midfielder will start his month-long stint with the Cumbrians ahead of their basement battle with League Two rivals York City.

The 24-year-old has made ten appearances in total for the Owls and a further six during a loan spell at Tranmere in 2012/13.

He's a bit older than a lot of players with lower experience because he stayed at university to complete a course before joining us.

I think his time with us is done but I honestly hope he comes good. His debut for us was one of the best I've ever seen. Shame if he never fulfils the potential

When does his contract expire?

I remember him making his debut against Leeds and thought he looked great. Think it was him and Barkley in the middle that night?

Yeah.

I thought he looked good as well. Potential partner for Semedo in the middle.....

Played well at middlesborough as well IIRC.

Odd whats gone wrong....

something must have kicked off behind the scenes....

When we got absolutely violated away on a Friday night?

Midfield was the reason why we got battered that night, Josh Mceachran had our pants down

The biggest travesty in that game was that they allowed us to score

They were better early on, but we matched them afterwards. It was Llera's error that lost us game. Corry played just as well in that game, as he did vs Leeds.
