Wednesday_Jack
Win win this one. I can't see us contributing massively towards his wages as I would assume reading are happy having him away from the club full stop...if he plays to his potential we have a decent match winning player on our hands. If it goes the other way and he starts disrupting things then I have no doubt that Gray will hang him out to dry, without a second chance as he isn't our player!! southportdc
Me too. Maybe wages? Could be a cut in what they wanted out of the blue yeah.
Lee A
I think he will be a player like Sibon, he has talent, but can be a bit lazy, now and then he will be sensational. He will Los be incredibly frustrating. I saw him a coupe of times on the telly with Everton, I think he is worth a punt. I'll take a bit of laziness if he has Sibon's ability Esajas not so much

swfc-dan
Rob is now telling the SUFC fans exactly the same thing.. @locky3370 Could still be something today but if not, loan window opens in a week anyway. Most patronising thing journalists can tell us

bradowl
This is scant consolation for me, for missing out on Jamal Campbell-Ryce in the summer. I've just compared these 2 signings with a piggy workmate. Said "Real Madrid paid 14 million for Royston Drenthe, how much did Barnsley pay for Jamal Campbell-Ryce?? full fathom five
He's better than Antonio and thus better than Maghoma.
Dagmeister
and thus better than Maghoma. Should keep Maghoma on his toes at least. Makes sense, we needed a winger and now we've got one. Given his repuation a loan seems the sensible choice too.
London Owl
Some of the comments on here crack me up...... "former" Real Madrid player, Reading reject. haha. If Real Madrid or Reading wanted him then he wouldnt be coming to us. If Gray fancies a chance on him then thats good enough for me.
swfc-dan
Lets be honest, he'll excite more than Maghoma even if he is inconsistent. We needed someone a bit like that, who can change games in an instant. Welcome our new JJ

full fathom five
If Gray can keep this boys head right and an arm around his shoulder when required we could have a hell of a player. On the other hand he could be a right nut jack and needs a boot up his arse. Only time will tell.
prowl
If he failed at Everton and Reading and he fails here then he's going to end up playing in some pub league next time. Hopefully that should incentivise him to change. Good luck to the lad. Hope he turns his career around.
WalthamOwl
Excited about this. Yes it's a risk but he must have something about him to have played for Real.
