Welcome to Hillsborough and good luck Royston Drenthe.

Very good signing for Championship, If we can get him playing right we could be onto a cracking winger In my opinion.

Amazed with such a reportedly strong team spirit, we've made a signing such as this.  Big risk from Gray this one, but fingers crossed some sort of penny drops with him.

Having read about his time at Reading he doesnt sound like the kind of character we have currently. But there are two sides to every story I suppose. Time will tell.

This could be last chance saloon for him.

Gray is not daft, he would never have brought him to the club if he thought he was disruptive.

You have to trust Gray and back Drenthe, i mean sometimes players need a kick up the ass and this could be it for him.

A longer deal in January would probably be in the pipeline if he does well.

If the Reading fans are right, he's lazy.

If Wiki is right, he has anxiety issues when being booed.

NOT A GOOD COMBINATION

Sounds like the player least suitable for Sheffield Wednesday

He's going to be a legend, total faith

He made 47 appearances for Madrid and has also had spells with Everton and Feyenord. He can't be a bad player.

His attitude is obviously questionable. But if Gray can get the best out of him then I'm very excited about this signing.

He was excellent early on for Madrid but seemingly got a bit billy big time and partying took priority. Looks like he carried his attitude with him to English football but at 27 time may be running out for him to get back to the top level and Gray may be the man to make him realise this and make the most of his ability before it's too late.
