Too right. Leeds is a rugger town, always has been, always will be. They will never be a true footballing city like Manchester, Sheffield, Newcastle, Liverpool etc.

ah yes, those footballing hotbeds of Sheffield and Newcastle, whom, in the last 60 years have an FA cup and a League cup to show between them.

True footballing cities!!!

Bit of a shame when a rugger town's club has representatives in the The English Footballers Hall of Fame, the Welsh and Scottish FA's Hall of Fame.

Over a thousand international caps recieved for players whilst playing for the rugger town.

Numerous PFA players of the year, managers of the year.

European cup finals, League Champions. FA cup winners, League Cup Winners.

Suppose Newcastle could make a case for Alan Shearer being a reletive succes, although he won nothing with them.

Whilst David Hirst and his three England caps is as good as it gets for South Yorkshire's true footballing city.
