One of my favourites. So sad that the ref was a total schwanz in the first leg and sent Hirst off. We'd have done them otherwise. That was one of the best atmospheres I've experienced. Yo there with Cardiff, Wycombe, Brighton, Portsmouth.

Yo? Up  ffs.

They had 4 or 5 chances which on another day would have gone in.

But they didn’t, so we’re still right in it.

We were like rabbits in the headlights tonight. Really poor performance.

Have our work cut out now.

I thought we defended very well for most part. A mistake lost us the game. I don’t think we were like rabbits in the headlights. Sunderland we’re better than us for most part tonight.
Yet again a complete over reaction by some on here.

Said the same last time against Huddersfield.

Just got to go for the win in every game.

It’s no longer in our hands.

I think it’s impossible to “no longer be in our hands” in a two legged semi final.

are we relying on somebody else to get a result for us.

All we need to do is win.

In fairness to Sunderland they played very well for 70 mins, but I thought we largely kept our composure and looked the stronger team in the last quarter. I personally wouldn’t be too critical about our manager or players and expect us to give them a real test on Monday.

Wait until Monday if it doesn’t go well.

Maybe 2 or 3. Hit the bar with a long range shot which was a half chance and they put a point blank header over the top. Although they did well down the flanks, they did not create good chances from those attacks . They were a bit unlucky and on another day it might have been 2-0 or 3-0. Finishing power very important in play offs as necessary to score! They generally lacked it and their fans knew it and got worried late on.

Not the best performance but FFS get in context with the occasion

It’s pointless asking some fans to consider the occasion and the overall picture, like home advantage etc… it genuinely doesn’t cross their mind.
