Watching at home, I didn't feel their atmosphere. You heard them at times. We need to recreate that Brighton atmosphere.

It was just loud. We’ll show them a proper atmosphere on Monday.

........watching the way they clammed up in the last quarter (under almost no pressure) gives me a lot of confidence that we can get a result at S6.

In a funny way, being a goal down may actually settle the team nerves. We'll know we need to go for it.

Johnson is in rotten form at the wrong time, but I would stick with him

I reckon I probably would too, assuming he's up to another game so soon.

My finger would be poised over the trigger ready to sub him off if things don't quickly improve, though!

This is why, when I tell people the atmosphere is special, they don't get it. Hillsborough is a proper ground. And no, we aren't starting that bleeding debate again.

Bring back a Kaiserslautern type atmosphere - yep it didn’t finish well but a million times better than that Mackem support today

Bottom line is if we can’t score at Hillsborough it is game over.  Sunderland don’t have to do anything.

We have no choice but to take the game to them.  Up and at em.

if we go out with a whimper in the second leg then that would be criminal.

One of my favourites. So sad that the ref was a total schwanz in the first leg and sent Hirst off. We'd have done them otherwise. That was one of the best atmospheres I've experienced. Yo there with Cardiff, Wycombe, Brighton, Portsmouth.

Apart from hutchy dropping a big ball and bpf ******** up.. we coped with them in an intense atmosphere.

All to play for

Tbf 3-0 was about right

They hit the bar, missed a free header and BPF nearly dropped us in it again

Got out of jail tonight big time
