Bluesteel.
It’s the most Wednesday thing ever, our ever present talisman injured in last ten mins of a game we’d already won. Potentially costing us. We might surprise ourselves but it would be a huge blow. Nathan Broadhead got injured for Sunderland too 3 1
S1Owl
keep everything crossed he's ok.. we got nobody who runs the show like him they'd be all like lost sheep.
Mystic Neg
Bannan will be a huge loss but we still have enough quality. We are no longer a one man team 4
Popular Post andypandy
He just did the player lap around the pitch, with his daughter on his shoulders, so hopefully it is not to bad an injury. 18
Pulcinella
Windass can play attacking mid if fit enough, and Byers is one of our top scoring midfielders. Dele-Bashiru also has good games in him. I reckon we have very decent options -though obviously Bannan would be first choice.
Mus
Even Sunderland forum are celebrating his injury. That's how important he is! 6 1

He has until the 6th to recuperate - I actually think he will be more effective in the home leg where we will be more attacking focussed. we have enough strength in dept to cover should the worst occur - Moore just needs to get the setup and balance right.
WhiteOwl91
You only have to look on socials to see how many Pompey fans are saying how Bannan is on another level in this league. He’s absolutely crucial and he’s our captain. You don’t want to lose that for the play offs, so fingers crossed 3
Popular Post Horatio Hornblower
The play off spot was secured at the 60 minute mark. Was expecting to see Bannan and Gregory substituted to conserve energy and protect them from injuries but for some reason Moore kept them on until Bannan was subbed with 8 minutes to go. It’s these decisions and lack of foresight that I think DM really struggles with. Incredibly frustrating if Bannan did pick up an injury in the last few minutes. 13 2
Marine13
If bannen is injured I don't think he would have been allowed to stay out at the end.
