Derby County V's Wednesday OMDT

Recommended Posts

Dug out my white 150th Anniversary shirt to wear as a lucky omen.

Problem is, it appears to have shrunk a bit 🤔

I think we will win, but I'm not confident that Rotherham won't

Getting nervous.

What rituals are people in the process of doing to bring good luck?

I’m trying to get my son to wear my old Wednesday top - unfortunately I cannot fit into it as it must have shrunk when the wife washed it.  Told my son that if he does not wear it we will be relegated.    Bit of a dilemma.  Do I force him to wear it and run the risk of a call to Childline?

Seriously, come on The Wednesday.  Do us proud.

Here I am, match-ready in my 2004/5 signed shirt. Not worn since the Millennium Stadium play off final. Didn’t wear it in 2016, so hopefully it’s a lucky omen. It still fits too!!

For this lot to win a game of football and deal with the huge pressure? absolutely

Wouldn't say it'd take a miracle,  Derby have lost their last 6 effing matches, they're shot to pieces.

I've watched 2 games this season while painting various bits of the house; the draw at Swansea and last week's tie with forest.... So as that won't be enough today, I'm Danish oiling some wood... Could go either way.

Brown trousers though.

tbh

You shouldn’t be bricking it.

we’ll be hoofing it aimlessly and failing to deal with corners.

Or just watch the paint dry, could be more entertaining

I have only ever seen Wednesday win once at Pride Park. Must be 15 years ago now. Real bogey ground.

We’re awful and consistently bottle the big games.

I reckon it’ll be a draw.

You must have been away this season, and missed the countless times we’ve bottled it and given awful teams on awful runs the 3 points.

Ok maybe not a miracle, but we’ve been stung too many times this year for me to have any belief really

A Reach screamer, a Rhodes tap in or a fluke off Paterson's arse???? Any of those will do.  How desperate we are!

Otherwise it's Fleetwood and Cheltenham next season.

Come on Darren, put some fire in their bellies!

Jordan Rhodes last game for Wednesday. Nailed on for him to get the winner. Keep the faith!
