What they fail to mention is that he's being lined up as our manager.

:Chansiri:

He's an intelligent guy (off the field).  Anyone who has heard him interviewed will know that.  Does he know enough and carry respect to be the manager?  No idea, but nothing would surprise me

Maybe not he didn’t train too much under Carlos and performed well maybe he plays 2 in 3 or 1 in two in squad rotation plenty do that snd it’s going to be needed anyway

my point stands Hutchinson brings a quality we are Lacking a bite we need he improves our team

So why couldnt he get a game in Cyprus than?

It's hard to play matches, score goals and get assists when you've been frozen out, nor did goals or assists ever reflect his value in a match anyway. Not a particularly fair judgement of him to go off the last 12 months.

And based on the conversations from Singing the Blues podcast, the very last thing he wanted was to leave Wednesday. He sounded like he was absolutely ripped apart by the way he was treated.

According to the 'Hutch love' on here when he went to Cyprus,it was allegedly for the better weather, and to give his family a better carry on.whilst at the same time giving his injured body an easier time.....(and why not? I would fancy that) and not because of any shortage of Championship offers..(we never saw any though did we?? not one Championship Club allegedly wanted him on a free......why not?)

Nobody wants Cook but he's a better option than Jesus..according to some.

Maybe the two are related

That's a good question, any idea where I can find the answer, wiki isn't very in depth.

I'd guess Hutch's was better, due to Pelupessy featuring quite heavily since Hutch left/frozen out and us being pants.

I just did this

We'll never know

I do know that Lopez was running games for us

Carlos left him out and the team forgot how to play

Agree with this, he brought Hutch on against Brighton away when we were getting overrun which was the right decision but should have brought Lopez back for final and gone for 3 man centre midfield of Lopez, Bazza and Lee.

We lost it in CM and needed Joao out ball over top to keep their defence deeper and give our MF more space.

It was obvious after 10 mins but CC did nothing about it.

Would be happy if Sam came back as PC alongside Thompson

Get him signed up. Him and Kieren Lee in the middle of midfield as we all know Lee is wasted at Bolton as hes the best midfielder in the championship. Fessi would be open to a loan move as he cant get a game in Italy so bring him back and he can play with the big guy Wickham upfront.

Cheers Nigel, that's impressive, got to admit I laughed at the yellow card count.

There's one consistent theme running throughout this thread from those who continually slate him.

They are all the Monk supporters who lapped up everything he said.  Some even went as far as saying that Monk should be given another season even if he got us relegated.  🤣

Decent option off the bench as he can cover two positions- only on a year contract with reduced wage - doubt he would accept being in the bench though

We have suspensions, rotation required due to volume of games etc, they’d all get plenty of game time

The only thing with Hutch is that he sits deep when in midfield and Baz has to drop back to get the ball off him.

Spot on pal Hutchinson likes to sit on the laces of the centre halfs Shaw is a far better option

Hutchinson improves the starting 11 & squad it’s an absolute no brainier providing wages are ok

If he's as good as you think he deserves top wages surely

Be a poor decision from the club to resign him imo, for that reason I fully expect it to happen. Yes we need someone better than Pelupessy in midfield but we need someone that doesn’t spend so much time out injured, we already have enough of those players, Luongo for example.
