The Four Lanes Chip Shop

You'll find it very hard to pass the Four Lanes Chippy without a queue outside it waiting to go in. I'm not talking about matchdays here I'm talking about any time it's open
It's always packed and extremely popular

The Four Lanes Chippy on Leppings Lane has been serving hungry Wednesday fans for years and is a firm favourite

Didn't it used to be Four Lanes cafe on the 80s?

I remember going in and Gary Bannister and Megson were sat with others finishing their cups of teas and grub.

Happy days.

HOONG TOO - Chinese Takeaway on Penistone Road
Much loved for it's chips and gravy

This.

As much ale as can possibly consume prior to the match in the put watching the lunch time kick off then walk down to here for a giant spring roll and curry in the main although the chips and gravy is lovely.

The world famous BERE'S Pork Shop on Middlewood Road

Often see some of the local journalists and ex players in here before games

Does it really need any explanation or hype?
Amazing pork sandwiched, warm and delicious

Everyone loves Bere's Pork Sandwiches

Don’t understand why we don’t sell Bere’s in the ground proper grub

The sausages at The Riverside are the only reason I don't go in there (I live 2 mins away and would be in there all the time otherwise)

I find those sausages in there offensive

I really do hope and wish with all my heart that they would change them

are they like the ones found in some school canteen or some nasty all inclusive hotel? or some asda smart price or richmond sausages? either way you have put me off .

all this is so sad in some ways ,little things yer but things we miss and sadly some of them will probably go to the wall . we all need hope not continuing barriers ,id like to think some of us might be allowed to attend maybe by mid april if not it makes you wonder what exactly needs to happen going forward as its just going to be impossible for anything to continue if normality isnt resumed by early summer .

No one else go here?  Hardly ever a queue (which is just as well as it takes 'em longer to make up some chips than it does atdhe to turn sharply and get  up to full pace)

Screenshot_20210110-202937_Maps.jpg

ive only ever seen queues when we had a game with around 30000 ,20p cheaper than 4lanes but the difference is quality is worth the extra 20p and the big queue .

You only find your favourite things in life by trying new things

Do you know Neil, I’ve been saying that to our lass for years but she’s still not agreed to a three way with Chantelle the busty blonde barmaid at our local.

These evil things are the type of sausage that let down many establishments, mass produced catering sausages, bulked up with hardly any meat content, you can spot them straight away and it’s always a disappointment when they appear on your plate.

AMEN to that my friend

Give the place a try - everything else is fab

Its' literally just the sausage that needs deleting from life
