The world famous BERE'S Pork Shop on Middlewood Road

Often see some of the local journalists and ex players in here before games

Does it really need any explanation or hype?
Amazing pork sandwiched, warm and delicious

Everyone loves Bere's Pork Sandwiches

We go here, well the lad does, he goes and gets us both a sandwich while I go and buy a couple of pints in the ground

He constantly refuses to drink pale ale, so unfortunately I have to drink them both myself

I do miss this

Just a bloke, who used up all his luck in one go when he met his wife.

HOONG TOO - Chinese Takeaway on Penistone Road
Much loved for it's chips and gravy

Their chips and curry is the best known to man, and has been a pre-match family ritual for as long as I can remember (preceded by a couple of pints in the Barrack of course).

Matches are an 8am kick-ok for me, so it's a hearty breakfast. 2 fried eggs, pancake, Lindt 90% dark chocolate, some Swiss cheese , Jello with Coolwhip. That's what I had this morning and most mornings.

My favorite breakfast is Fried bread (Gluten free), beans, eggs, sausage and bacon.

Loving the Pictures of Hillsborough area. Not see that stuff for years.

Eating’s cheating. Takes up room that could be filled by ale.

Up at 8, train for 90 mins then a full English at home. Works up a right thirst and has digested nicely by the time we get to the pub at 12. 👍🏼

Good times😪

Eat at most of those other fine places during the week😂😂😂

The last time I bought food regularly before the match was an age ago, and i'd get chips and fishcake from the chippy at Manor top.    Mind you bet we are talking 2001 before I left my parents house down past the old fire station.

I live too close now to warrant it, 10 minutes walk.   When I lived in Pontefract it'd be a Maccy d's on the roundabout on A639

The sausages at The Riverside are the only reason I don't go in there (I live 2 mins away and would be in there all the time otherwise)

I find those sausages in there offensive

I really do hope and wish with all my heart that they would change them

You can’t get in way of a man and a good sausage mate!
