Jordan Rhodes sale off as asking price or wages too high?

I don't think we can ever accuse Wednesday of asking for too much for the purchase of our players.

Next time we’ll be looking at why not to poke yourself in the eye with a pencil.’

Now you tell me, I’m sat in A and E with a pencil in my eye

If I was in Jordan Rhodes position I would take a wage cut to move and try and prove himself at another club.
He is already minted for life.

If I was Jordan Rhodes I’d wait for 6 months on my big fat Sheffield Wednesday salary and then take a pay cut and try and prove myself at another club. Then I’d be even more minted for having done nothing other than sat around for a bit longer.
Thumbs up Jordan 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

No you wouldn’t.

He is getting paid (our fans say) £30k per week until the Summer.

Would you go to QPR now for say £15k per week? Rather than wait until August?

Bear in mind, there’s a better-than-evens chance football will be cancelled for a few months in between.

You’d be an idiot, and he isn’t.

Only way this happens is if its a loan and we agree to pay the other 15k.

He will not go on a permanent transfer this window..

If I was already financially secure for life I would.

I posted in another thread a few days ago that QPR can't afford, or aren't willing, to pay his wages - or whatever contribution we are asking for. So this will no doubt be the reason.

Huddersfield are still keen, but only at the end of the season.
