Does he mean a break or a break a) A lucky break. b) A break/rest. We've had so many games with out decrepit squad. They completely ran over the top of us in the opening 35 minutes. We needed a break and we didn’t get it. His tactics are to defend at all costs and hope we can get a breakaway goal ala Reading and Norwich. Those 2 goals are probably the only ones we will see like that for the rest of the season. cowl
No attacking subs till the 80th minute though? The players do look tired—and that's not directly Pulis' fault maybe, you not making an attacking changes till the 80th minute in a game you've trailed for 60 of those isn't on. Pulis' first strike. He only gets two more.

agentwalker
I just don't get all this standing off the oppositon. It's getting us no where. We are a lot better pressuring the opposition and forcing them into mistakes, this didnt't require technical players just players who can run. 1

He only gets two more. That’s an easy one to explain. The attacking players that started the game are light years better than the ones on the bench. He clearly doesn’t rate Katchunga or Rhodes, and do you know what, he’s right.

Onge
It's tiring without the ball - and we barely have any possession because we set ourselves up to defend. If the players are fatigued we're screwed with the busy Christmas period coming up. Either rotate more or try to take the game to the opposition - where we can dictate the tempo for once...

Popular Post vulva
None of this is the fault of Pulis. This goes way back and you can’t blame a bloke who’s been here 5 minutes. He’s been left a sack of poo that started filling up the day Jos was appointed. It’s going to take years to unwind, and anyone with half a brain can see that. 37 1 7

WalthamOwl
I hate the way that In every game since Pulis arrived we just let the opposition have so much of the ball. It is so negative. 1
