Agreed, but it's not the criticism as much as all the vitriolic comments and personal abuse attached to the comments that fans put on social media that must affect the players adversely. Under his watch and ownership we have seen the club go into transfer embargoes more than once, a points deduction penalty, there are way more negative than positives during his tenure here regardless of him being the funder. When he does decide to engage with the fans, it turns into nothing more than him behaving like a spoilt rich brat who expects the whole fanbase to worship the ground he walks on.
