striker
Largely as expected apart from Van Aken. Where's Borner?

RichieB
Monk was saving Rhodes for Cardiff then.
Plonk
That bench doesn’t look reassuring.
Errol Flashman
Penney earnt his start. Van Aken a surprise. Fresh start I suppose. Let's see how he does before we hammer him. Love Borner but looked very rusty last week. Edited September 12, 2020 by Errol Flashman 2 1 Just a bloke. Being dragged along in a world that moves too quick for it's own good. Looks more balanced with players on their natural sides and opens up the pitch going forward.
NeonLeon
Van Aken might work well left of a 3. Least he’ll have Lees to sweep up his mistakes, or amplify them..
Holmowl
Guess Borner injured. Ive never rated Joost but I hope he has benefitted from his time away and ironed-out some of his weaker points.

SwellOwl
van Aken has to prove us all wrong, fresh start. Borner looked very shaky vs Walsall. Great to see Penney start.

Aside from that happy with the team, Penney earned his place last week and as much as Rhodes is struggling, we had a better shape and played better in the final 3rd with him on the pitch last weekend than without him. jonnyowl
I dont think there is any point moaning about the starting 11, you could swap players in 2 or 3 positions and there wouldn't be much difference. I look at the bench though and apart from Kachunga, who's going to come on and change the game? I think we should be solid down the middle, but not much creativity in their. I want us to be solid today, a win would be great, but I'd take a 0-0.

WalthamOwl
Really not sure on Van Aken and Lees to be honest. Personally would have preferred Wildsmith in goal (he should have started in the cup if Dawson is the league keeper) midfield 3 look good, would love a goal for Rhodes today.
