WalthamOwl
A win and a couple of new striker signings announced over the weekend would be nice
Pablo Bonvin
Top post as ever Milord. As for the match, even by my own pessimistic standards I’m not feeling positive about today, but I’m crossing everything and hoping the boys can give me something positive to reflect on. God only knows we need a good start, and after a shîtty week news-wise, coupled with the fact that after a restructure at work I’m now in a new team with three Leeds fans acting like kids at Christmas (I’m only jealous I suppose, but it’s just the fact it’s them...) and the new boss (one of those Leeds fans) is making us have three zoom “meetings” now every week so I get a regular dose of smugness. Happy days. What a time to be alive. Up the Owls anyway.

Drewswfc
Think we'll nick this 0-1 after they and the ref cheated us out of a win last season. UTO

Sefton owl
Not going to lie, on the whole that predicted team really worries me. Matt Penney in midfield , no Kachunga? Anyway glad the season is back, lets hammer them welsh ********

UTO Yes, today’s ref certainly owes us one after that shambles.
Bakewell Owl
hope for a win, think it will be a draw hold on tight this season is going to be a roller coaster, time for us to stand together and back them come what may

Wizzard1867
The best of luck everyone. We're going to need it. Under normal conditions you'd give the team four matches before the screw of pressure starts to turn, especially with new players coming in. This season is going to be brutal from the off. The players have the advantage of these early matches being played behind closed doors, so realistically all though the pressure is there, it's not going to come from the stands. It's now time to do or die. 1
Animis
It looks like Monk is setting up the team and going for damage limitation this season, and try to get circa 60 points for safety. It's not going to be pretty but hopefully affective. I'll go for a 0-0 opener and -11 points by 5 o'clock.

dewsburyowl58
Great read Snoots as always , reminded me of those penguins all huddled together from the snow don’t know why !! . We need to be a bigger goal threat than last week . Just can’t see us scoring many as we are . Take a draw 0-0 I reckon. UTO .

So too are Bris C and Derby with equally winnable home games. Add in Barnsley to beat Luton and it's not a bad yankee 5/4 Cardiff, 9/4 Wednesday. About right. I think Wednesday will win 9 - 4.

WalthamOwl
Think I’m going to avoid looking at the league table for a good few months. A picture of it popped up last night and I felt a little bit sick/angry/upset looking at it.
