This entire farce is of the EFL 's own making. If they tried looking at what is causing clubs to bend the rules instead of punishing clubs for doing so, then maybe they eould avoid all these court cases and tribunals. So the efl are to blame for us spending north of 10m on fee's and wages on the likes of abdi, Westwood and Rhodes,to sit on their backsides.

The rules are there for a reason. To try and stop clubs spending over 100% of their income on players wages and curb the economics of the madhouse that we are part of. No-one in their right mind can think that the current situation is sustainable. There are only so many rich sons of even richer daddies out there. Parachute payments complicate this but are nothing to do with the EFL. If we have broken rules that we signed up to then the club deserves everything it gets, if we didnt, then great. It's the lack of transparency that irks me the most. We still don't actually know a) when the hearing actually started, if it even has all and b) have no indications on timescales whatsoever. I understand the need to keep a tight ship, but it's supporters who suffer throughout this. Just give us a rough date, at least when we might hear something FFS. This whole season was already another wash out anyway, but having this anxiety on top of it all has just made being a supporter hard work. I have forgotten what it was like to enjoy following this club. Edited July 10, 2020 by Sheff74

Bouncing Owl
You’ve got to wonder whether the EFL are fit for purpose? This should’ve been sorted months ago. No decision on us yet. It also appears that our hearing was moved forward given the efl were put under pressure from other championship clubs. The derby hearing starts next week and there is no date set for the Reading hearing. The season finishes a week on Monday and there is also a quick turnaround before the next season starts. There were rules put in place, a few clubs have flouted the rules and tried to get an advantage on those clubs operating by the rules yet the EFL are villified for trying to punish those trying to cheat to show integrity to the rest of the clubs.....difficult position, particularly when Clubs and owners don't accept responsibility, and don't operate within the laws put in place to govern the league. That said, parachute payments...whilst needed financially for clubs dropping out of the premier shouldn't give those clubs an unfair advantage....clubs already in the champ should be able to invest the same as parachute payments outside FFP

Could get relegated without a points deduction, that DC’s fault aswell ? All those dropped points from winning positions his fault ? Which by the way would probs make a points deduction irrelevant if we had picked up even half of them
