To remain fair to everyone, the EFL will look at the table as it stood on Boxing Day 2019 and the playoffs will commence once the virus has been cracked. Common sense has once again prevailed. Rule Britannia. Surely it'd be fairer to take Christmas Day as the cut-off point, and scrap the playoffs on safety grounds, meaning that the teams in the top 3 positions at that time get promoted.
