Odds For Relegation

I had £5 @ 66/1 when possibility of points deduction first mentioned. I'm so p1ssd off at the moment, I wouldn't worry if it came in.

That’s a cracking bet pal. I have no qualms with fans getting some money back for our players being a disgrace.

How does a fan of SWFC go into a bookies and bet that they are relegated?

Heard it all now:mad:

Doesn't mean we want it to happen and does not make it happen.

I had a £10 free bet and as soon as EFL Charge was announced put it on us to go Dow at 100/1.  Did not expect it to come anywhere near.

Hope it doesn't come in but if it does will pay for my League 1 and League 2 season ticket.

Might cover Vanarama National League too if you're lucky enough :duntmatter:

Cash out advice?

Like many others in this thread I had a wager on us at 20/1 with Bet365 to go down. Our odds for relegation have since been slashed to 11/2 but I am only being offered double my stake as a cash out. Surely 20/1 down to 11/2 warrants the risk almost quadrupling? Or are cash out figures always poor / non reflective (another revenue stream for bookies)?

Yep at present we are not in the first 4 favourites to go down so in their eyes and many others the chance of your bet winning are still very slim

I can double my money already if I cash out now.

Mine is currently suspended on Skybet.

Last time I looked, they were offering £2ish cash out for a £10 bet.

Be interesting to see what they're offering now.

I've just been looking at the league table. Luton and Barnsley look gone, and to catch us, they need 5 wins.

Hull are in a similar run of form to us and they sold their 2 best players and not recovered from it. They could easily go down.

Charlton are crap, even we beat them. That said, I think they might scrape out of it.

Boro, Stoke and Huddersfield, I think they will all survive and they may all catch us if we continue our poor recent run. Wigan might just have enough to stay up.

Our current goal difference is worth an extra point unless we get more nasty beatings like yesterday.

My conclusion is that I think we need 1 more win out of the remaining 9 games to be safe. Maybe a draw as well.

Looking at the fixtures, regardless of what people think of Monk, I think we will get this. We will be safe.

The elephant in the room, and the reason that some 'shrewd' punters have latched onto a big odds is the possible/impending points deduction.

If that happens, even if it is only 6 points, I think we will go down.

365

So we are currently 20/1 to be relegated. Personally, with the impending EFL ruling, I believe these are massive odds.

But

Derby, facing a similar charge and who are on the same points as us, are 9/2

Strange

On Sunday. b365 has us at 6/1 to go down. but had Wigan, who are below us at 20/1. That is strange.

Pre covid I'd already taken the 100/1 about us finishing bottom, on the off chance we get clobbered by the EFL.

I had £10 at 20/1 to go down.

before the restart it was offering me £21 cash out. After the weekend it offered £19

my 100/1 bet to finish bottom isn’t offering a cash out
