Always like Bristol C. Proper club, one if the least offensive teams around.

Always surprised me that for a decent sized city their crowds are so small and they have never been in the top flight (recently).

Great badge, everything ours used to be!

I lived in Brizzle for about a year when I was younger, the reason why they don’t get the crowds is football isn’t the number one sport down there, they are all rugby mad, the rugby sells out most weeks.

No problem with BC as I regard them as a team that play reasonably attractive football, though they weren't impressive the other night and got what they deserved.

Can understand why they are critical of DC's financial management but generally a fair selection of comments unlike at some clubs. Most arrogant fans for me are Leeds and Villa though I'm not keen on Brighton either.

Sunday’s paltry following from BC was a stark contrast to the game on 28 February 2004 when we were just getting into our painful years, but they were right up there at the top of the league and looking certainties for promotion. They arrived at Hillsborough on an 11 match winning run with a very tidy following in the West Stand, while we were midtable after a very inconsistent season under Chris Turner. Can’t remember much about the game but I think we more than held our own, with both sides having chances to win it. Then deep into injury time we won a corner or maybe it was a long throw from Bromby at the Lepp and an exhausted Graham Lee headed home the winner. Cue wild celebrations on three sides of Hillsborough and mass disbelief on the away end!  Even in the dark times there are memorable moments.

Comments on this and their other post match forum threads were essentially reasonable. Genuinely wish them well and who knows, the glory days of Gerry Gow may return so long as it isn’t at our expense.

The pre-match ones from Stoke though. Blimey. Some rift has developed between team and fans down there. Pernicious parachute  payment pneumonia by the psound of it.

Bristol City have good potential, like Brighton they have a good platform and have been quite progressive. The problem is they probably sell too many players at once to make the top six, but we’ve been given some hidings down there. Ironically this was when we were a more attractive side to watch.

Tidy business unloading Reid and Flint (both have done the square root of fizz all since leaving)

I dont take the comments to heart we have been there as fans feeling the same way , felt their pain a couple times this season alone. That fòoking derby game just recently.

I'd rather see clubs like bristol and Preston go up than Fulham

Agreed.  The posh prats at Fulham County Vicarage really annoy me to no end.

Just viewed their forum. The gape in members is extraordinary, 62 members recently viewing. Just demonstrates the size of our club compared to the likes of theirs. 678 viewing our pages currently on a Xmas Eve before 9am.

Our numbers will drop when Wetherspoons opens
