thewookieisdown
Thought the extended highlights gave a reasonable overview, more than is sometimes the case.

Pastor Kidneys
I like how they play and they have some good talent in their squad. Wednesday deserved to win yesterday though.
Dot
Loving the bitterness They were on top first half without a doubt but never really looked like scoring, they obviously came for a draw judging by the time wasting from the first minute. Far from impressed by them, when we turned up in the second half they hadn't got a clue what to do.
peacock1961
I honestly thought they were the fittest and best footballing side that I have seen this season. They didn't score two though so we won.

Brentford are a well ran 3rd div team, always have been always will be. If we were more like brentford our gates would be 8k. As oppose to Wednesday’s approach of selling no one and ending up in the FFP poo? Absolutely. Brentford have made over £50m in transfer fees in the last 5 years. Money which has allowed them to operate with a competitive budget. It’s a long term strategy which has meant they have continued to progress despite managers leaving. We have zero strategy. Think it’s time some of our fans opened their eyes rather than be dismissive about “3rd division teams”.
Castleford Owl
We had more clear cut chances, as we do most games. Whatever people think about style of play, we create plenty of chances in pretty much every game and should really be higher than 6th. There’s more than one way to play football, and I actually think we mix it up well. We’re certainly not the “hoofball” side that we definitely were under Megson. I'm not saying we should or shouldn't but If we had started selling star players to balance books over past few years fans would have been playing hell saying club lacked ambition. Just imagine come January and we sold Bannan and Iorfa.

Long term strategy alright, formed in the late 19th century, and have never ever won fa, the vast majority of it in the 3rd division.. And they never will win anything because they sell their best players. Na, my eyes are wide open mate..

Strange how Liverpool are the current European champions and soon to be PL champions having sold their best players in recent years, Man Utd won the title after selling Ronaldo, everyone drooling over Leeds this season after having sold wood and Taylor, pigs promoted after selling players but yeah our strategy of paying 30k a week for the likes of FF to sit around for months on end doing nothing seems to be working.
