SiJ
They look like a typical Brentford team to me. Play some good football, capable of beating anyone, but always prone to dropping points. We got at them second half and they didn't cope very well.
HIGHERSTATE
I was a bit impressed with their lack of shithousery. But their keeper tried and it I think the reaction of the crowd scared them off it. Thought here we go another qpr, fulham streetwise ganxta team for a second
0114
One of them pretty teams, pass it all nice and chuck full backs forward and tell everyone they’re a rate good team yet can’t do the basics of defending a long ball and look down their noses at teams who dare to hit the ball to a strikers head. All in all I think we deserved to win. In terms of chances created we had 3/4 very good chances and I’m sure Fletcher would be disappointed he didn’t add to those 2 goals yesterday.
sonofbert2
We were great first 10 mins then they got into the game and bossed the first half without creating many “real” chances. The goal was poor defending but a cute header. Second half we dominated until we got a bit nervous towards the end of the game. The End.

Lord Snooty
We weren't at it in the first half. But for all that I never felt particularly worried that they were going to do anything despite their little give and goes. Second half we got things together a bit more. Put them under. I didn't doubt we'd come back. Last 5 or 6 minutes were a bit backs to the wall, but that's been the case all season. Don't really see what the Bees have to mump about.
HIGHERSTATE
They were probably still a bit giddy after last week...which is understandable back down to earth after the lord snootys parade and all that
Animis
9 million catchment area, moping up Chelsea's young uns. If they existed in the west midlands or the North they'd be a Walsall or Hartlepool. 1
Steve Down South
Decent team (as usual in recent seasons) and a club worthy of some respect for the way they are run.

If they existed in the west midlands or the North they'd be a Walsall or Hartlepool. That 9 million figure is very misleading. London is huge but how many football clubs do they compete with? There are Fulham, Chelsea and QPR in West London alone. For me Brentford are the exemplary, sustainable football club. Buying young players, selling for a profit, steadily improving against a long term strategy. With the new ground on the way I think they could be a good bet for promotion in the next couple of years. I would love for us to be more like them.
Lincs Owl
Considering they won 7-0 last week, I thought they'd have been more clinical with their finishing. Yes, Brentford were better first half. But when we get the ball down and play it, we're better than most teams in this division. Thought we just about deserved it, but we did our best to throw it away again in the last 5 minutes.
S72 Owl
They passed the ball about ok but they had 2 shots on target all game. Never looked like scoring from open play until that 1 late shot that went wide.
Costello 77
After their goalie went too early for the pen... Fletcher giving it the mind games gesture tho..f*cking brilliant..
Flat Owl
Some fair comments there. Two fair to middling sides with different strengths and different problems. Was impressed with Norgaard, who looked like a fresh Wim Jonk with a bit of bite...

If we were more like brentford our gates would be 8k.
Kopparberg
I thought they gave the ball away too much - especially first half... and so did we. More accurate passing by them could have seen us in trouble I thought. Winning from 1-0 down is rare for us, so gotta enjoy that.

Ian
They were as bad as us into first half....it was like watching a conference relegation battle.....shocking first touches and passes either went to the opposition or out for a throw
