A win is a win. Small acorns and that.

Ive seen worse than Luton - so well done in context.

Aye, they came to our patch and gave it a good go. Would like us to start taking our chances, but can't complain about a win and a clean sheet. Don't care if we keep winning ugly as long as we keep winning.

And there you have it, only on Owlstalk.

Another home win, clean sheet, currently top of the table, with the best start in god knows how many years, and the comments about a mid table team beating a relegation team, I fu**ing despair.

What is it that a lot of you want ? 6-0 strolls every game ?

Put aside your indifference to Bullen, team selection, choice of substitutes etc, it is points on the board, something it usually takes us till October to achieve.

Not a great performance but 3 points.

Positives are Harris, Borner and Luongo.

Cheers SB

Also thought Fox had a decent game.

Good to see Fox getting a few plaudits, did well again tonight. If we are going to play with two outright wingers, then Fox and Palmer are our best two full backs

9 points from 4 games and 2 goals conceded.

Need more of a goal threat but with Forestieri, Fletcher, Winnall, Rhodes and Nuhiu you'd hope we have enough if we can keep the shutouts going until January.

Well done Wednesday!

9 out of 12? Could argue 10 or 12 would be better especially given the teams we have played

100% record is unrealistic no matter who you're playing in the Championship. The only team that's looked truly awful so far has been Stoke, and they could still be a threat by the end of the season.

Just shows what a good job Bullen is doing then, to have a mid table team, top of the pile, pretty good eh

Easy start better teams will hammer us on that performance and until he stops trying to shoe horn reach into the team

Good 3 points tonight. We were very sluggish in the 1st half, and apart from feeding Harris, looked bereft of ideas.

2nd half we upped the tempo, pressed high like we did against Barnsley and forced them into mistakes.

Borner seems to be really coming good, Luongo looks desperate for a start, Murphy came into the game more after the goal.

A special mention for Fox, who's had dogs abuse on here, and in the stands previously, made a fantastic block near the end and had a great 2nd half.

Lucky escape tonight, but let’s not paper over the cracks here. We were woeful tonight and even with a better second half we’ve made Luton look like world beaters.

Great that we can win ugly, but that team should have enough pace and creativity in it to put these teams away without scruffy goals winning it for us.
