Best case scenario now is if their results take a downturn (they are not that good at the moment) the Prince has no cash so needs investment or a buyer, if they are heading for the Prem trapdoor it will make that job a lot harder and put more pressure on Wilder to get results, if he doesn’t……………

Wonder if a certain local business man might throw a few bob at it? Probably not.

The press will be sharpening their pencils...

" Hi Chris, you've been very vocal in criticising clubs that do not manage their finances

properly and subsequently end up in an embargo or worse..

We've learned this week that this club was seemingly very poorly managed financially and in fact

were themselves under the very same embargo you are so vehemently against as recently as 2017. Any thoughts?"

....or maybe not

King Kev said they are very good friends...............

I would strongly suspect he will.

Couldn't help but notice McCabe's remarks in the press about how Wilder had some serious thinking to do.

That doesn't scream of a man (McCabe) with the club's best interests at heart, does it?

Very good friends, who keeps screwing his boss for a new contract when there's a bit of turmoil.

As usual, the only loyalty is to look after number one. King Kev must be seething about the shares judgement. Wait until the new chairman arrives and can't even find his way in.

Legally speaking, I think Prince shifted his 50% of the club to a different company to try to avoid having to buy the ground etc. Judge called foul. He's got to buy.

Basically, they've shafted each other. No winners. Just a case of who's lost most and who can put the best spin on their situation.

McCabe wanted to buy out the Prince on the cheap so he could sell lock stock and barrel to the Yanks. Prince read the contract and thought he could have the club for £5m and rent Bramhall Lane , threatening to move if McCabe put the rent up (bit like Coventry). But he's got to buy the ground, which will be way over what he thought he was having to pay out; he needs backers, or an advance on the TV money / parachute payments.

McCabe has to sell the club for a pittance.

Prince has to buy the ground, but he has no personal money to do so.

Mutual shafting.

The prince would ony need personal money if he was buying  the ground personally. Surely he would buy it through the club which would mean they get their asset back but in order to do so would spunk the sky money and incur further borrowings?

Best case scenarion - Relegation, Wilder walks, Prince is forced to buy the stain and the training ground but doesnt have the funds so uses parachute payments and player sales. Pigs fall through the leagues again while Monk takes us back to the promised land.

Ideal scenario for me would be it appears that the Prince buys the ground only to find out some months later he actually borrowed the money from an “associate” due to the fact that he hasn’t got a pot to p**s in.

The Prince can’t pay him back, the “associate” technically owns the ground and decides to knock it down to make way for student flats.

I reckon Football Heaven would be worth a listen that evening.lol
