Bouncing Owl
Matias is next to hopeless. We’ve seen a few glimpses of ability in 4 years but all in all he’s been a shocking signing who has been too lightweight for the championship and consistently injured. He will be shown the door in the summer.

Even when he's going forward he lacks intelligence. 3 times today he made a forward run (looking for someone to put a ball over the top for him to run onto presumably) but he just ran as fast as he could towards goal in a straight line- no bending his run, no looking along the line to try and time his run- basically just an aimless sprint into an offside position. On the flip side I noticed that twice he should have been given the ball first time with no need to bend his run as his timing was spot on, once where Bannan refused the easy straight through ball, Bannan saw the run, (I was convinced at the time that Bannan chose not to pass to him out of spite because of MM previously not tracking their player for the goal) and once when Reach held on to it far too long, on both occasions he would have been through on goal with an half decent first time pass. Mr. Tom
If that was Bruce having a look at MM then I think he’s probably seen enough already. Not got a lot of time for him as a player myself; never liked the cut of his jib. Nice enough bloke but who cares.

Inspector Lestrade
Matias shouldn't even be near the defense track back to midfield fair enough, but keep him up front.

Would like to see a change in attitude in bazza, needs to start encouraging more instead of getting in their backs. Players like that used to really wee wee me off when I was playing. Agree, Bannan ought to concentrate on his own game. Has been below par lately.

This all day long, don't mind anyone bawling someone out for not putting effort in, but having a go at a debutant who was MOM, because he didn't pass the ball to 'the precious one' is out of order. We played well in the first half precisely because we went out wide rather than everything having to go through BB. He has to change if him and us are to be successful.

I obviously don’t know what the instructions are from SB, but we’ve all said a few times haven’t we that we give Bannan the ball too much instead of taking responsibility. In terms of Matias though, I’m not sure he knew where he was meant to be playing either.

asteener1867
Chatting on the Kop about Bazza having a dig at Lazaar.... "How dare you pass it to someone else...." I thought it was funny, cos the next time Lazaar passed to Bazza he tried a f.ookin' ridiculous back heel to nobody....So maybe Lazaar knows what he's doing oft times (sid James' pipe) Maybe it will take time for BB to realise he doesn't ALWAYS have to take it off EVERYBODY...but given how the season has been...you can see why its a hard habit to break
