Spookone
Wouldn’t it be super duper to finish 6th while knocking our cousins down to 7th... 2 1
striker
I quite like his positive attitude, season only half way through. He's making the right type of managerial appointment this time round, money available for signings (presumably loans or frees re FFP) so why not have high ambitions. Both Villa and Forest being talked about as credible promotion candidates, only 5 and 6 points respectively ahead of us. It's unlikely, but play offs not out of reach and would rather us have a go than meekly finish out the season.
Morepork
I just wish DC was a bit more conventional in the way he arrives at his predictions.....

prowl
If DC wanted promotion this season he left it a bit late to replace Jos. Too few games left. The current 6th place club has earned 1.68 points per game so far, if they keep going at that rate they should get 77/78 points over the season. We need 47 points to match them, 2.24 points per game. So far the league leaders have managed 2 points per game. We have no chance. No reason we can't move into the top half but promotion is a stretch. legendaryswan
Hes taken too long getting JL out,,a top 10 finish should be achieveable but any promotion party will have to wait another season. We need to concentrate on getting it right for next season now
i used to be sc_owl
For this to happen we need: - two top full backs - a beast of a midfielder - a pacey winger - a prolific striker In today’s market you are looking at £40M for those five players, with the winger and striker costing the most. Either that or we call in some amazing favours using Bruce’s contacts.
Clowne Owl
If he says he believes play-offs are still possible (mathematically they are) that is not the same as saying we are definitely going to get promoted.
dani_armo
no wonder the club is in such a mess...if he honestly thinks there is even a 0.01% chance hes even more deluded that I thought

Plonk
IF we beat brum today I think that will put us just four points behind them, and they are currently seventh. The fixture list is then very kind to us. Big Steve coming in and a couple of decent signings could see us really start pushing up the table. A bit of momentum and who knows. Just wish he had sacked Jo’s after QPR. Four wins out of those ten games and we would probably be in the top six. Disclaimer: I’m not very good at maths and not actually studied it properly.

All we can do is keep winning teams slip up we gain on them 3 points and a few goals today and we are near to 7th spot. Whether we have any chance of not stands firmly at the chairman's door. He needs to maximise the transfer window no business either way then what's the point of appointing Bruce.
