Whilst judging players at the club, i do take into account minutes on the pitch and games played. To say he should just retire is a harsh comment. He has come back from far more serious injuries.

Also think Hooper will come back and still think Hutch can do a job for us but as a defender rather than in midfield.

What has been the most games in a season he has actually started? He has been consistently injured every season he has been here. As he ages it will only naturally get worse. Open your eyes. He is another player that is more part of our history than future. Seems a top bloke though.

We can no longer carry players earning good money who play around half a dozen games a season. And from next season we won't be. Hector already looks like a replacement imo. nevthelodgemoorowl
Wednesday made the play offs two seasons running. Three players were key to the feat. Hutch was one of them. We knew what we were buying into when he signed. He was brave enough to come out and say his problems ran much deeper than his physical injuries in as much as there was a deep psychological impact. I think some of you should show a little more respect and cut Hutch a little slack and show some respect, wish him well and the like.

Ian_D
I think he would be a great sub. Can cover defence or midfield. That might mean less game time so less bookings and less chance of picking up injuries.
