best priced 30-1 to win the league

Leicester possibly could (and did) win the league . I would bet any money / possession I have that wednesday wont win the league .

Sorry but there’s no way anyone thought Leicester “could” win the league before it happened. It was not more likely to happen than Wednesday winning the championship next season, in my opinion.

Its basically the same as saying there’s more chance of Southampton winning the premier league than Wednesday winning the championship.

We still have some of the best players in the league and when they returned in the last ten games we were 3rd in the form table, behind Wolves Fulham. And we still had some good players missing from the side. That form over 46 games next season would be interesting.

Jos is a promotion specialist and has shown he can get our players motivated and organised to be successful in games.

And despite the doom and gloom with transfers there is still a possibility that some loan players could arrive before the deadline.  Or in January. Plus maybe our young players like Baker and Thorniley will have excellent campaigns.

Anyway, I’m more confident we can win the league this season than last season, that’s for sure

Stoke will be the strongest side this season. Rowett a steady hand, spent good money on solid pros, and they'll add if needed.

Not sure about Forest. Karanka is a manager who gets his sides organised, and they'll be better than last season. But, they were awful last season, and it's a lot of catching up to do, and a lot of gelling to be done quickly. If they start well, like Wolves did, they could really grow. But, I'm not too convinced by them. They haven't bought as well as Wolves did last season (and Wolves had already got some serious talent there before Santos rocked up with Neves, Boly and Jota).

West Brom's squad will be strong also. Doubts over Moore however. Had they gone and got Wilder in the summer, I think they'd have been shoe-ins to return.

I have a dreaded feeling about United this season. They fell short last season, but I think they'll end up investing the Brooks money wisely (and without upsetting the wage balance within the squad), and I can see them seriously challenging for a playoff place.

We'll finish between 10th-14th I reckon in a pretty "meh" season. But, hopefully embedding some youngsters into our squad, allowing us to start again next summer once some of our big earners are off our books.

I think you are confusing hindsight with common sense. No way on God's earth Leicester could/should have ever been Top 6 let alone win the bloody thing. But they did, and that is forever the yardstick for possibility...

We won’t win it because we don’t have strength in depth

And Cardiff did? lolAll about the manager in this League, look at what Wilder did on a shoestring budget last season. For all the worship on here, IMO Carlos was a poor manager luckily given a massive budget but he wouldn't have got us up even if DC spent twice as much. Jos seems far more to my liking so far, getting the basics right like, incredibly, fitness. How embarrassing that he took over a 2nd tier professional club with some players earning over 30 grand a week and the squad he inherited were so unfit! Beggars belief.

Very true, and also IMO our team that finished last season was better than the Cardiff side that finished second. We played Cardiff twice last year, in the away game they needed a 96th minute equaliser to stop us winning and in the home game we had 14 players injured, but still got a draw and Rhodes and Joao should have scored.  This is just an opinion of course, but I reckon if we played Cardiff at the end of last season, with Lees, Bannan, Forestieri back in the side, we would have won.  So the key for us next season is keeping players fit, in form, and not setting up to be too defensive (see carlos)

If we have a fit squad, automatic promotion.

Missing a stand-out CH to form an enduring partnership with Lees and one other in defence. Missing an established RB/RWB and if Reach is used elsewhere, probably the same on the left. Whilst we have FF back we still lack options in terms of a game-changer in terms of skill and pace, to stretch a game. Depending on where SH plays (not that we can rely on him to play too many games), also lack a midfield general who can add bite. Slimmed down squad and a reliance on youth players coming through and previously broken players coming back. No depth and some quality does not add up to a promotion winning side.

Considering we have not lost any of our star players and giving the fact we have a whole host of good players back from injury also add that to the fact we had promotion form the back end of last season.

How do you have us finishing so low and more importantly how do you have THEM finishing above us.
