Owly Mowly Posted April 23, 2018 Share Posted April 23, 2018 I went for Atdhe, because he lifted the season, even in those home games where we were awful and he cane on as a sub and showed the passion we were asking for. Then he started to look like a footballer, played some great stuff, scored some goals including “that” one and is such a popular part of the squad - I think it would be a hugely proud moment for him too!! I'd love Atdhe to get it, after all the stick he's taken while he's been here it would be some recompense. I'm really glad he's found his scoring boots, if he signs a new contract and keeps going as he is now he could be a great asset next season. After some deliberation, it has to be Reach for me, Nuhiu a very, very close second and honourable mentions for Venancio, Pudil, Wildsmith and Joao. The fact that Venancio is in people's peripheral for this award should hopefully see him sign some form of permanent deal. I think the league should adopt a system whereby the fans can vote out one player from their squad each season, who then has to leave on a free.......I know we'd still be left with deadwood but imagine the feeling of satisfaction!!
