Fernando Forestieri rehab

People on here need to call down.

Being a pro footballer in the championship or premier league is nothing like a real job.

These players are multi-million pound assets. The club is sending him to specialists all over the world so he can get the best treatment.

He is worth potentially over 10 million to this club, why would they just send him home with a packet of paracetamol.

Many many players go abroad for months to recover from injury. It's nothing new.

Absolute drama queens on here always looking for a conspiracy.

FF will be back and play for us and he will show everyone what we've been missing.

Can you name a player who has been sent abroad for 5 months?

seems it's football these days - can't imagine Tony Tomms, Charlton or Wilko tolerating it.

Oh for another Tony Tomms and a stroll in the Brecon Beacons.

Let's hope FF shows some loyalty after all this time, unlike his countryman DiCanio, who we stood by for so long and then skipped off at the first opportunity.

I agree it does seem strange that he's not back here now wonder if he's even talked to Jos?   I'm afraid I think he's being prepared for a summer sale and reluctantly I think we'll need to get the cash in

It doesn't reflect well on club or individual.

Other players will see DC as weak. Let's face it, 3 months after his "refusal" to play last season, his wages were doubled.

Even though we were crying out for his talent against Swansea last week, I can't wait to see him gone.

Agree 100% with this.

Went to Norwich last season £35 ticket, 4hours there, 4 hours back and rearranged some family time to go.

FF head 'Not in right place' as only on £20k per week refused to play.

Sticks in my throat short time later was still here and got a pay rise.

Shameful.

Sturridge, Ibrahimovic, Wilshere.

All went to USA for specialist treatment in warmer weather.

It happens all the time.

FF has had a serious operation, I am glad he is getting the best recovery available.

He is our best player and will be again when he returns.

I for one can't wait to see him back.

It shouldn't be up to him where he regains fitness. Whilst he's contracted to us we should be managing his fitness and should be monitoring every aspect of his rehabilitation.

For the the life of me I can't understand why we'd let this happen. Hopefully he comes back fitter and stronger than ever, just seems weird.

have you thought 'we might not be letting it happen' we might be thinking, as he may be that this is the best way forward?

running a successful football club in modern times is very challenging task indeed.

firstly it appears you have to have a masters in dealing with prima donnas, then agents worth more than you who own the club.

look at chelski over the past few years, champions-assassins, champions-assassins.

i wonder how cloughie would have got on under these restraints, likely still at hartlepool, or second hand car patch.

the present scenario has to reach a limit, but Christ knows where it will be, championship football is already pricing out 25/30% of it's fans, if not more, yet the juggernaut goes on.

No conspiracy theory or dramatics from me mate. I just don't think he gives a f@@k about his team mates, his club, or the fans.
