Fernando Forestieri rehab

Recommended Posts

It's not just about rehab though is it. It's also about being a team player. As mentioned in a previous thread what's stopping him getting on a plane and showing a bit of interest in his fellow professionals ? Why hasn't he been seen anywhere near Hillsborough giving his struggling team mates some support ?

Some bizarre post on here. Firstly he isn’t on 30k, I don’t know where people get our players salaries from? How would you know unless you speak to the player/agent. Just to add a bit of actual information to a lot of speculation.

He has been back, albeit briefly with the family.

His return abroad was planned to get the final sign off from the surgeon. The club is totally involved/behind everything he’s doing to recover.

His return has been delayed by a severe chest infection/virus for about 3 weeks. This occurred/came to life when he was back so return early.

I was told he would be back in full training in 4 weeks, 2 weeks ago. So expect him to return within the next week.

It shouldn't be up to him where he regains fitness. Whilst he's contracted to us we should be managing his fitness and should be monitoring every aspect of his rehabilitation.

For the the life of me I can't understand why we'd let this happen. Hopefully he comes back fitter and stronger than ever, just seems weird.

I can understand it...

its SWFC. The club that lets Cantona go... the club that has 30 mill to spend and makes a complete mess of it, the club that lets in a last kick goal in a F.A cup final, the club that had the dreadful disaster at its ground when it could have been one of so many around the country that was unsafe.

Its what we do.

Not really. He’s injured, I wouldn’t expect an injured player to do anything for us other than get back to fitness as quick as possible - he appears to be doing that.

" Injured "

Only a few years ago, players used to hobble on crutches to the children's and chat with the kids there too.

What's he do ? Phooks off on a jolly.

There are specialist hospitals he could have been seen to here.

All this 8ollocks about heat etc etc etc....

Blokes a mardy ar5e

Cheers boxIng day, some apparent substance as opposed to the bull in most other posts.

Some people seem to lack a little common sense and compassion.  The guy has had a serious injury.  An injury not to dissimilar to that of Man City’s Gundogan who spent ages abroad (on his own) to aid his recovery.  There was an article on him deciding to stay overseas to consolidate his treatment and get the best he possibly could.

Thought you’d all be happy that FF wears our training kit whilst he’s there.  Although I guess some of you are extremely disappointed, otherwise that could’ve been something else to criticise him about.

I get that a professional footballer would want to get the best treatment and rehab available. What l don't get is that he hasn't been able to get over for a game or two to offer a little support to his team mates. Has he not formed any friendships with any of his team mates which would motivate him to come over and support them ?

To know that he isn’t on 30K implies by definitition, that you know how much he is on, who told you the player or his agent?

Sounds like you should support another team.
