I don’t care if I get hate for this

Recommended Posts

I'm not sure if it's true or what the actual song is but yeah reading between the lines there's no call for it. Sadly though it's a sign of society and not particularly a new thing either

The opening post was a good thing - the OP then posting the actual conversation at the centre of this was not good - not sure why you would want to expose it to even more people? I do find people’s logic and motivation hard to understand sometimes.  :duntmatter:

Don’t get your point, a girls age has nothing to do with rape does it?

Yes it does...if a 16 year old boy has consensual sex with a 15 year 364 days girl then I believe he is guilty of rape

Embarrassing and pathetic song sang by a bunch of chavs. Hope we never hear of it again.

It's about the football, I want to go to the matches with my pig supporting mates, have a drink before and after and discuss the football. Not to cringe about some scummy songs and that's not even considering how it must feel for the young lass. I hate social media sometimes.

Trust me, There's no anonymity in any of this, a mate of mine had a few 'BBC' lads at his door giving him a 'warning' the other day.

There's been adresses, phone numbers, photos allover place.

What was behind the 'visit'......were they just unlucky that the BBC pulled a few random addresses out of the phone book or was there a modicum of "intelligence" behind it?

Facebook and twitter. Used by complete flaps

*sigh*

It's really not.  I've used various social media platforms for years and years and find them incredibly useful, informative and a great way fo staying in touch with distant friends and family.

It's the minority that abuse it that are the problem.  You can't tar all Facebook/Twitter/etc users with the same brush.  The same way you can't tar all Wednesday fans with the same brush for these disgusting posts/comments.

You're the minority, sadly. Perhaps everything in your closed circle is respectful and tolerant.

I assure you the rest of it is not.  The anonymity with instant reach has granted a voice to those that did not have anything of value to say.  And the results on a global scale over the past few years are scarily evident.

I disagree, it’s a voice for some who shouldn’t have a voice or not educated to express an opinion they feel entitled to do.

I get your point for using it for its proper use, but the negatives outway the positives.

I am not taring anyone with brushes just my opinion on the FB and Twitter, the hurt it can bring (not just abuse, stalking, being able to see everyone’s business the list goes on) doesn’t counter balance the positives it enables IMO

Definitely 'intelligence'.

My mate produced a few stupid tweets about Evie, turns out the bloke who got the adress and organised the 'visit' is good mates with Chris wilder himself apparently.

The stickers are a disgrace, and anyone found in possession of them, or printing them, should be embarrassed and/or given a kick up the harris.

Re Wilder, he's got 20,000 mates. Any Blade you talk you is his 'mate' and has known him 'years'. Its usually 'Chrissie' or 'Tufty'. Those that profess to know him really well even shorten this to 'C' or 'Tufs'. There is another level, where they don't even utter his name, but just move their head 3 degrees to the left, and drop an eye brow like James Bond. Bumped into one of their 'lads' at the last game in September. Within 3 minutes he told me that he was ex 'BBC' (never been the same since Greg Dyke left), now retired from the 'scene' due to CCTV and grandkids and was showing me pictures of one of his 'best mates', 'C', on his phone.

All in the space of 3 minutes. Never met him before. Really interesting stuff. Honest. I left him to it as he was humming the Chip Butty song, brushing dandruff off his Stone Island kaghoul, bouncing down the road trying to offset the obvious issues surrounding his 5ft7ins height.

Very very odd bunch.
