Added pressure - pig affect

No we're not over reacting. Look at the value of our squad, the personel we have, the style of football we are playing, the league position, the points gained. Now look at the clubs above and compare.

@dw_sheffwed I'm in the same mindset as @doubleo. Given the riches CC has spent on players, £10m on Rhodes, £5m on Reach, £4m on Abdi, £4m on Mattias and Jawow etc, coupled with the massive increase in wages ..

on paper we should be obliterating teams ... but in reality we are really turgid, boring and at times frustrating to watch ..

last season, many a performance, couple with this seasons style of play (no change after being promised change), lack of key signings, poor celebrations of our 150th anniversary have all exacerbated the problem

We do not look like a cohesive team that will achieve promotion. Teams like the Grunters do at the moment

Are we over reacting? we have lost 3 games and because dem blades have had a great start and that's adding more pressure on Carlos and fans expections?

Think there has to be a bit of truth in this

when your merc is firing on 3 cylinders and little sister's 2nd hand kitcar passes you on the motorway it irks a tad

We are 14th after ten games and churning up gutless performances while our manager praises how we play despite going 1-0 down every game before he decides the centre halfs should stopping passing between themselves.

Nowt to do with United.

Of course United's fantastic start to the season piles the pressure on us/Carlos/DC. And the posters claiming to not give a bobbar about United are, once again, showing extreme delusion. If they were at the bottom of the league they'd be all over it. Their current success is a massive kick in the nuts for us and to state otherwise is ridiculous, especially when that success has included a severe humbling of us on our patch. The fact that United's squad probably cost less to assemble than we are paying Abdi per annum makes it all the more galling...and embarrassing.
