Knockaert signed an improved five year deal yesterday, doesn't he play left wing?

And if he got a knock. Who's the player you could canpare him too? Similar style. Not as consistent but on their day equally as good. Premier League club now could spunk 7m on a bench player in my eyes.

I thought he played on the right but wherever he plays you always want competition and squad depth and a firing  FF would add to that .

listening to carlos the other night I think he may have to serve one more match before he's back in the fold he kept mentioning red cards and that's a 3 match ban ............

Ah, yes... Good point.

And one to remember before we all go bananas tomorrow if he's not playing.

Fair point.

Looking at BHA transfer activity, it does seem a little light weight for a club wanting to stay in the PL.

Similar  players I'd say , there is no way they could both play in same team .so knowing that would fessi  be happy sitting on bench most weeks,  something what he hates.what we need is a manager to stop talking bull we deserve that.

Don't think anyone's suggesting he's refused to play. Rather he's been dropped as a result of his behaviour.

But none of us know the FACTS.

It is not right to criticise or condemn anyone, when all we have is  guesswork, rumours, and assumption.

Not all red cards are 3 game ban. Either he is in squad 2moro or he is up for sale .carlos needs to give a straight answer to all this nonsense.

We can argue til the cows come home about his attitude or if he is "poison" around the club, the simple fact is none of us know for sure how much is true and how much as Grandad says "we,ve been played".

But the bottom line is, if he goes then we are losing the best game changer we have from a squad that is already looking dull and one dimensional.

The only upside would be that it might free up some money to reinvest in our lopsided squad, but judging on our dealings over the last 12 months i,m not sure thats a good thing.

The overriding feeling for me is one of deja vu with our fans.............................whenever we have a talisman it seems there is a section of our fans that CAN`T WAIT to attack them, criticize them and slag them off.

I have seen it so many times down the years Di Canio, Whelan, Brunt , Antonio etc, the same thing every time "we,re better off without them F*** em"

and its the same fans who will praise "solid" journeymen to the rafters...........................you now the ones i mean..............the players who if they were made available would barely raise half a million.

If he leaves, despite his childish strops i for one will be sorry to see him go, and the squad will be appreciably weaker unless our recruitment staff finally get their finger out.

If he goes we should have enough cover in attack to soften the blow.

With a few quid available to spend a player like Diame would be an excellent signing. I can't see him getting much game time in the PL. He has got everything we lack pace, power scored from midfield. He is the ultimate midfield beast in this league and has proved he can do it under pressure too.

We've had issues before with FF, and the warning signs are there. We just need to get out of the situation with as much money as possible, and as quickly as possible so we can use the funds.  Although a different situation, Costa at Chelsea is an example of how not to do it. In the current market he's easily worth £50m, but while ever he continues getting fat in Brazil, and as the transfer window nearly ends, his value is falling.

Suspending FF may be the right thing to do, but principles are very expensive. Either play him, or sell him.

Judging on the reactions Ive seen - the fans have been played good style here.

Good riddance?

Jeez

His refusal to play at Norwich was just in our imagination eh?

He should have gone then. No matter how good he was the season before. Weak management by the club IMO and will cost us as his fee now will be a lot lower.

No player bigger than the team. Every player is replaceable.

Extremly weak management and once again totally naive PR.

They pandered to his tantrum last year, when he was arguably in the 12-15m mark and clubs were supposedly coveting his signature

Keep the tantrum quiet, fob it off as a slight injury and let him go.

They made a rod for their own back and are paying for it now.

No club in their right mind will pay over £5m for him knowing that he's got issues in the club and we are sailing close to FFP

Leeds currently valuing Wood at 20 million.

Not happy selling one of our most talented players, but if we do, let's make sure we rob somebody blind for a change.

There's is a bidding war for Wood though and he scored 20+ goals last season. We will be lucky to get half that for FF.

Hook line and sinker.

The very same will then moan in a couple of years of the Club selling on the cheap and should have stood by him in a difficult period.

It's not like we have history with Di Canio or owt is it
