Im dissapointed that local bitterness acted as a barrier here but seeing the level of interest in him meant we were always up against it. Both heard of interest & went to the board requesting permission to leave. Winnall would have been praised just like Hourihane had he not come to us. This, plus I think the fee probably had a lot to do with it. We basically stole Winnall at £500k, as where it appears Villa have paid a decent fee for Hourihane.
