ChinaOwl
I wonder if Chansiri and advisors are trying a cheeky, test the water, loan with option to buy at the end of the season option? As outlandish as it sounds, this might turn out to be the best option on the table for Blackburn. With almost zero chance of promotion, they could get an expensive, misfiring player off the payroll for a few months with the possibility of getting the full fee they are demanding if Rhodes comes good and fires us to promotion. From a business sense, it could work out a good deal and right now, Blackburn have little to lose.

Guest wilyfox
No, Hooper's holding the door handle from the other side. He'll let go eventually because he's not fully fit.
handworth52
derby are buying anything whats available at minute would love it if they missed out on going up and got hit with transfer embargo. we need to forget about Jordan Rhodes 5million yer any more no way. need to take some risks trying to get up but not worth doing what forest did spending 15-20million and failing now they aint going nowhere . we need 2-3 players asp defender a must need to improve defence if we are going to win any away games .if im been honest we could have easily shipped 10 goals in last 3 home game. if turner is never goin to be fit can we send him back? how long will lees be ? same with westwood sorting that out and getting lees and westwood fit will be difference from us finishing top 6 to missing out. really surprised we aint fetched a defender in. Holmowl
Delighted if we get Hooper. In which case, end of. But dont be fooled into thinking Rhodes has lost it. He has had barren spells all through his career, then comes back with simply shedloads of goals. He will end up with minimum 20 this season as he always does. I think we are sounding out Rhodes for two reasons. First, cos he is one of the best four goalscorers in the division. And second, cos we are deep in negotiations with one of the other four, ie Hooper, and it willl alert Norwich and his agent that we have other options. But for me, Hooper, pretty please. SouthernOwl24
I dont honestly think he will be willing to spend 10Million + on one player until the premier league. If we had this sort of money available now i think we would have got Judge. I think Hooper is our main target this window.

Permanent can mean :- enduring lasting, stable, constant, undeviating etc. etc. Therefore could be classed as permanent ................ only saying
Sonny
It's not you lot on here who will be spending the money so stop talking like it's coming out of your back pockets. Surprised Chansiri hasn't priced season tickets at 12p per match in that case.

oh_weds_we_love_you
Well if he is its the wrong attitude and doesnt deserve to be playing football. But what else can a player do if a club is holding back his career due to a crazy price tag? Guess it could be said he only has himself to blame after signing a new contract 18/24 months ago. gurujuan
Adobe is worth £10m because someone was willing to pay that, so far no club thinks Rhodes is worth £12m and Blackburn won't get that for him. Afobe is a far better player than Rhodes. Rhodes is struggling to score goals in an improved championship, even with the likes of Bennett, Conway and Marshall supplying the bullets So overrated
Notts Owl
Probably just a warning shot to Norwich threatening to go elsewhere if they ask silly money for Hooper. Yep, can see that. Eh up Canary boy, any more than 3 million for Hooper and we will pull out and spend 12 million. Ok Mr Owl he's yours for 6 million. OK done.
