andypandy
Leicester City have been charged by the Premier League with allegedly breaking spending rules during their last three seasons in the top flight. Leicester have been referred to an independent commission for breaching profit and sustainability rules (PSR) and failing to submit audited finances. If found guilty the Championship high-flyers could face a points deduction.
Popular Post Castleford Owl
Everybody can see it's a farce and knows full well that Chelsea and Man City will receive no punishment, City in particular for countless charges. I want this breakaway league to happen. Let the so called big 6 or 7 disappear. 31

From the BBC It means that the case, including any appeals, could run beyond the end of this season and may see sanctions, if applicable, enforced next season. Leicester are now involved in dealing with two financial investigations, with the club the subject of an ongoing EFL inquiry into a possible breach of PSR rules relating to the ongoing season.

Popular Post owler66
Leicester got away with it years ago when they went into administration with no consequences, which set them up to where they are now so no sympathy from me 36 5

They got relegated from the Premier League, went into administration, wrote off a load of debt and went straight back up. They are the reason that clubs now get a 10 point deduction for going into administration. I hope they have a hefty points deduction waiting for them when they go back up.

There’s no point in deducting points after they get promoted. They’d likely come down anyway, deduction, or not. Take the points off them now. Stop them getting promoted and being able to stick their snouts into the PL trough once more.

And we Sheffield Wednesday tried to do the right thing at the time which you could say is one of the reasons we're in the state we're in today

andypandy
With all that is happening to clubs either in the premier league, and or have just come down, it probably explains why the Prem walked away from the deal with the EFL, so they can keep even more money as it sounds like a fair few clubs could be in trouble with I suspect more to come.
