Moore played him in various positions,  but each time he dared to run towards the opposition goal at a pace greated than an asthmatic slug. He's now working hard on the training ground learning how to stand still in his given position and pass the ball backwards.

In all seriousness, looked to have lost his confidence in his last few games (not surprising) and was poor. The boy is a LB who wants to play LB and to date hasn't been given opportunity.

I'm not being deliberately unfair. If he did play well then I didn't notice, but you could be right.

It was his only good game to be fair and there is a chance that he fell victim of the DM lottery selection policy that was in place back then.

We are struggling for a left sided defender, i don't see what we have to lose giving him a run of games. We continue to play midfielders and strikers in a makeshift defence when there are options there surely?

The trouble with full back and wing back now it as become a specialist position in it own right in the fact that you are expected to support the attacks just as much as the defence and anyone worth their weight in these roles quite often end up moving onto bigger and better things. Gone are the days where a full back was part of a back 4 and rarely got forward.

I think his display against Harrogate might disqualify him from ever playing left-back/left-sided centre-half, at least unless we get a new management team that didn't see it.

Early in the season he was aggressive, direct and positive

He was in a more advanced role and really helped up push teams back and apply pressure

When he dropped out I felt we lost a little something. I remember thinking it’d be great to see Brown driving from deep and Johnson utilising the room from this to deliver quality into the box

Problem is I never factored in how terrible a full back he is.

Not sure we’ll see too much of him ever again

When he first came in he looked pretty good. I thought he might kick on as he settled but he's gone the other way, he looks lost now.

Still relatively young and could come good in this division but a bit of a lost cause for this season. A bit like the rest of the club.

We all hoped the players who all looked good on paper would be great when the 'gelled'. Rather than gelling they have come unstuck.

What happened to this lad?

Think there’s a player there but he needs to play his natural LB position with someone in front of him.

This happened at Wigan away with Johnson playing in front of him and they combined really well. I hoped that Moore would continue with this partnership but it's not been tried since.

Our clueless manager would rather persist with a back three even though we’ve only had one fit CB at any one time the entire season.

Nothing new there, signed a French International wing back, turned out he was poo as a right back

To be fair to Brown he was played out of position as a LW and he was dreadful. Couldn’t beat his man, couldn’t cross and scared to death when presented with a chance. Hopeless.

Maybe he’ll be a decent LB if we revert to 4 at the back? No idea - yet to see him play there.

To me his best position would be in the left wing back. Gives him the opportunity to get forward with the knowledge that a LCB is there to cover if he gets caught out.

Hunt does it superbly on the right.

We need to start playing him in that role, competing with Marvin. Arguably best position for both.
