Popular Post Bearwood Owl1
The Owls' Twitter feed has announced the passing of Len Ashurst. The man who, along with Tony Toms, began the rebuilding of the club and it's slow road back to the top. My thoughts are with all who knew him. 12

Animis
Over the last 12 months or so, we've lost the entire coaching team from the mid-late 70s. RIP Len - my first manager watching the club.
Ibbo48
Yep. More sad news Len was the man who stopped the decline and built the foundations for Jack to build on . Didnt he famously say , when being asked how big a club Wednesday were , The only difference between here and Hartlepool is that the stand roof doesn’t leak ?
