Paying people £350k a week is making a problem for yourself somewhat

The problem with that sort of wage is the investment in the rest of the team hasn’t matched the investment they’ve made in Aubameyang.

Not an excuse, he’s not been good enough since the contract but, neither has their recruitment. It’s gone sour because they’re no better now than when he joined.

They’ve never been good at gauging when to move a player on. Chelsea on the other hand are probably the best in the league now they’ve got over the god awful decisions to let Lukaku, Salah and De Bruyne go.

Let's be right majority of that squad, barring, one or two, is a championship side punching well above.

It's the lack in depth that will be the downfall, Phillips has come on leaps and bounds but then they have his replacement in Forshaw.

Bielsa prefers having a small squad apparently. Bit of a risky approach really.

Very handy that Watford had a covid outbreak a couple of hours before their crucial relegation match at Burnley with their already depleted squad...

Not dodgy at all...

A somewhat cynical view but I don’t put anything past clubs these days either tbh.

According to 5live earlier, both spurs and Leicester want to call off their game tomorrow but can't. At the moment that is.

It's gonna hit a point where a decision needs making about football pretty soon. Is it time for a 'firebreak' type thing? Behind closed doors games again? Other measures?

Also, these are just PL teams we're hearing about at the moment cis they've got games on. Expect an avalanche of cancellations this weekend I reckon.

Leeds are having Wednesday levels of injury luck right now.

Bless em.

They are having some bad injuries, but they're bloody awful.

Can't defend to save their lives. Arsenal are creating chance after chance.

They played well above their station last season and now are getting found out.

Bielsa is so dogmatic and proud, they're clearly gonna get battered but he won't change anything to suit his depleted side, no wonder he's never quite made it to the very top European clubs

When it works, it's brilliant.

When it doesn't, they look like a kids team with their defending.

Doing one on one is fine when you have top class players. Less so when you've got a load of Championship players and some unproven kids.
